The finished quilt measures 24" high by 24" wide.Note on Yardage Calculations: Since foundation piecing takes more fabric than conventional piecing, I have added an extra 1/8 yard to each fabric to allow for waste.
Blocks needed to Make this QuiltPiecing Diagrams
Print 4 copies of Magnolia Block. Set the Finished Block size to 7" x 7". The Magnolia block is in the Flowers folder.

Print 16 copies of Buttercup #2. Set the Finished Block size to 4" by 4" size. Buttercup #2 is in the Flowers folder.

Print 4 copies of Crocus #1. Set the Finished Block size to 4" by 4" size. Crocus #1 is in the Flowers folder.

Step 1: Sew the foundation blocks. Click here for instructions on how to sew foundation blocks.
Step 2: Sew the Magnolia Blocks together as shown.

Step 3: Cut 4 strips of fabric 1 1/2" wide and sew the strips around the magnolia blocks as shown.

Step 4: Sew 8 Buttercup #2 blocks together into 2 strips of 4 blocks each as shown.
Step 5: Sew the Buttercup block strips to the left and right sides of the Magnolia Blocks as Shown

Step 6: Sew the remaining Buttercup blocks together to form 2 strips of 4 blocks each. Sew one Crocus #3 Block to each end of the strip as shown.

Step 7: Sew the Buttercup and Crocus block strips to the Magnolia Blocks as shown.
